Memory books

Have ya'll ever done a memory book for 25 crazy kids? No? Well I did and will never do it again !! LOL..

My daughters teacher came to me and asked to "help" make memory/autograph books for the class for the end of the year. I said "sure, why not, I love to help". So I asked her what she would like in it. She gave me a few ideas, and then that was that....nothing else for months. I kept asking her and she kept "forgetting".. this went on for months...

Then I take the initative and ask the secretary about book ideas (shes a wiz) and she gave me a few ideas. I then searched online for days trying to come up with something magical. I finally got a few ideas and gave them to the secretary. She turned them into something MAGICAL and I had a great book in the making!

Then comes the hard and daunting part...putting that darn book together! I had to cut, copy, paste, bind...over and over and over again!! I worked on them for 1 1/2 weeks...STRAIGHT!!!


I FINALLY got the books done today....tomorrow is the last day of school!! I wanted to get these done last WEEK!! I was soooooooo stressed out about these darn books!!!

Im so glad im done, but they turned out wonderful and am so proud of them!

Next year my son will be in 6th grade. The last 6th grade class at this school. So im going to make that one WONDERFUL!! With tons of memories. I would like to find pics of all the kids from kindy through 6th grade! Wouldnt that be great! With each one personal.

Ill keep ya'll posted on what I decide to do, since it will be next year and all lol

last day of school!

Well tomorrow is the last day of school! Im excited and sad at the same time. Excited because I have the summer off (I work at the school) and im sad to see another year come and gone. My kids are getting bigger and that means im getting older! I cant believe my son is going to be in 6th grade already! Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was feeding him his bottle and swinging him in his favorite swing. He's so smart and reliable. I can count on him for anything(as long as I remind him 50 times lol) And now, hes going into 6th grade. He's going to be the last 6th grade class in our school. Our beloved school is closing. Next year is its last year, on its 100th anniversary. We are all very sad about this.

And my daughter, my precious little girl is growing into a beautiful young woman. Shes going into 4th grade, but she acts so much older! Shes so responsible and mature. It makes my heart sing! Im so proud of my little lady.

So tomorrow, im not going to wear make up. I think its best for all that way LOL..Im just going to cry it off anyways. I always get so emotional on the last day of school. Im such a baby!
